Crate training adjustment?

Ok quick bio of my doggie :) Her name is Kammi we suspect she is 8 or 9 months old. I was originally fostering her, but as most people know fostering can be deadly when it comes to such a cute face! My boyfriend and I adopted her out an(please note that me and my boyfriend are first time dog owners). We have had her for erm....about a month now she is also 37 lbs. She was a stray and has not had any training. We have been crate training her mainly just for housebreaking. We are now allowing her to walk freely in and out of her crate at night. So far so good!! Now I have heard that the crate becomes the dogs den, but me and my boyfriend don't want to keep this crate forever because it is a eye sore in our apartment. I'd like to point out that the crate she is in is sorta sorta tinyish (it was a hand-me-down) :( so I would really prefer that she doesn't always sleep in the crate. I work and my boyfriend goes to school. I'm wondering if she will react poorly if we remove the crate all together and give her a bed to sleep in. Can a gold wedding ring react with chloride solvents?

I have a 95 5.0 Mustang GT that has a cooling fan motor with only two wires( black & blue) coming out of it and a missing male plug on the end. The person before me cut off the plug that connects into the circuit breaker, which in turn connects into the wiring harness, and hooked it to a switch. The female plug on the harness has three wires (black, red, orange/blue). I have found the repair pigtail for a fan motor with three wires, but none for the two wire fan I have. My question is where can I find the proper repair pigtail for the two wire fan.

So I've had my italian greyhound Thunder for 9 years. She's a female, and we also have another italian greyhound thats around 7 years old, and a male. We bought a new italian greyhound puppy today and she gets along really well with the male (Lightning) but everytime she tries to make friends or get close to Thunder, Thunder growls and snaps at her making her cowar away. Is this a normal behavior between same-sex italian greyhounds? or do I need behavioral training with Thunder? any tips? should i react a certain way when Thunder snaps at her or should I let it play its coarse? Keeping dogs outside to sleep ?

Ok, so i have a golden retriever mix and my parents who live next door to me have a black lab. Now, the back yards are connected and i can go through my backyard and let my dog into my parents yard to play with the other black dog durring the day. The black dog is a hunting dog (we live in louisiana so my dad duck hunts every season) but my dog is just a mix from the pound but a good dog. The point is that my parents bulid a 5 by 5 fully equipped dog house for them.It had a light, A/C and Heater in it. They just finished it last week and started thinking that they were going to leave their dog the black one outside over night. My dad still takes her out for training and walking during the week but they thought it was a good idea to help her coat fill and to keep the house cleaner while shes sheading and having her (time) if you know when i mean. Well, they asked me if i would leave my dog outside at night as well to keep the other dog company and i wasnt sure what to do. My dog sleeps in a kennel inside our home but has never spend a whole night outside. Does anyone think it would be a totally bad idea to leave her outside? They have teh dog house and each other and i take her for walks during the week but i just dont want her to feel neglected at night bc she is used to sleeping inside. IDK how she will react. I looked into pansexuality and from what I've heard it's basically where you are attracted to women, men, intersexed people, androgynes, transsexuals, genderless people, genderqueer folk and basically anyone else regardless of gender or sex. So on that list I am attracted to women, men, androgynes, ftm transexuals, genderless people and genderqueers. At least I think I am seeing as I haven't had much opportunity to go out and meet a lot of people that identify with these although in some cases I find the differences between them to be so minute that I don't count them as separate to each other, although I may just be ignorant. I am NOT attracted to intersexed people or mtf transexuals. Don't know why. Same reason why gay men aren't attracted to women I suppose. So I don't know if I can really be considered pansexual if in some cases gender does play a part in who I'm attracted to. Oh I'm now 18 by the way :)

My ex girlfriend & I had a falling out 3 weeks ago. We are in our 30's & were together 4 months(seemed a natural fit, spent a lot of time together, were happy, planning to live together, she was asking about kids for future). i made a mistake (not cheating, used poor judgment) & upset her to the point it brought up a bad past memory. i felt horrible as i never wanted to upset her. she decided to break off relationship. i felt guilty, shocked & sad. this is a long story but here it goes. Hairstyles for curly hair?

Hi, I'm 14 and I have EXTREMELY frizzy, curly hair. I'm really self conscious about it cause I can't do all the hairstyles the other girls do, like the side fringe or the hair pulled back over the head (my hairs so thick that when I do that the rest of it puffs out making me look like a clown. I also can't do a lot of other hairstyles cause I look like an elf with my hair behind my ears (cause my hair is so thick it pushes my ears out). Don't go for the Fazer just because of a fuel gauge, because most bikes won't have one and it's best not to get into the habit of relying on one. A Honda CBR400, or even an old Honda NSR125 or Aprillia RS125 (they run around 30bhp derestricted) will be a good choice as you won't need to pay for the restricting / de-restricting, and they aren't expensive bikes if you do happen to drop them. They will also be very cheap insurance, cheap to run, and slightly better to ride than a restricted larger bike. The CB500 is also a very easy and forgiving bike to ride if you're looking for for something to last you a couple of years after your initial two, but as said you're going to be paying the price of restriction / de-restriction.

Nook or Kindle for a college student?

I go by the saying " You get what you pay for." In the case of the nook v. the kindle I would say the kindle, because while you are paying more for the kindle the are the best quality ebook reader I have seen and used. They are durable, within limits and user-friendly and generally good quality. The only thing I could like of that would be better is the iPad or the iPad 2 with an ebook/kindle app on it, but these are more expensive than the devices. My personal advice would be the kindle.

I live in the Belmar, NJ area near the ocean. We have had unusual weather lately from humid, to thunderstorms, to heat waves, to downpours. What kind of saw to use for install baseboards and tmoldings?

I had to take out all my floors, cut out some walls, and take out baseboards due to water damage. Now I've run out of money and favors, so although all the major work is done, the little finishing touches like the baseboards and the tmoldings that transition from the tile to the pergo floor still need to be done. i have tried ponytails, buns, braids, pigtails, side ponies, half updos, crimps, curls, waves, the wet look, straight, and down. I feel like i am running out of options!! please help it would be greatly appreciated

I completely disagree about giving your age. Writing changes with time. I wanted to tell you that you have an enormous writing talent. I am 55 years old, yet your story kept my attention. It made me wish I could read more of it. I do not agree with all criticisms in the one letter. That person should be reading your story on YOUR level. How does sodium nitrate make soil alkaline?

Our lecturer told us that when Sodium Nitrate is added as a strait fertilizer the soil becomes alkaline with time. How does this happen? She didn't give any explanation and asked us to find out. So far I had no luck with it. The possible answer I've found is that Nitrate turns to nitrite , then nitrite reacts with water to give HNO2 and H+. But I'm not sure whether thats entirely right. Help!

Can you get your pilot's license and pass your medical exam if you have Severe food allergies?

I have severe food allergies, enough where my allergist requires me to carry an Epi-Pen and Benadryl as a back-up. I only ever use these medications if I come into a food that I am not supposed to eat, as I am not allergic to any environmental substances. Benadryl, I am sure you know is a medication that makes you a little drowsy, however it really doesn't make me really all that drowsy. EpiPens, if used, you are required to go to the hospital. Since I am required to carry these, and because of the way they react and the way you have to react to the medications, I am wondering, are these a disqualification to getting my medical and student pilot license? How to make my FM transmitter work?

I've recently got a new car which had a Cd player already installed in it which is pretty handy although in my old car it had the radio and tape player so it was easier to find an empty channel for my FM transmitter to work for my ipod, in this car the cd player keeps skipping channels and won't find any empty ones and the ones it does the fm transmitter won't pick up as it only goes up to so many, I've read through the manual and nothing please any advice would be greatly appreciated , it's driving me mad!

What is the name of a toy doll from the 90s that came with her own video tape?

I got this doll sometime in the nineties when I was a child. I think she had blonde hair, possibly pigtails, and MAY have worn overalls. She came with a video tape. From what I remember about the tape, the doll may have came to life...or the child who owned the doll in the tape was taken into a cartoon world with the doll. It's sort of vague. And there may have been a scene where they came across a house/village/forest where things were made of candy and they ate a whole bunch of it. Sorry the details are so hazy in my mind. I have to wear a hat for work, I work at a bakery so for food safety regulations my hair needs to be in a ponytail, they're not really strict so I have worn it up, in a messy bun, down at the nape of my neck, as a side braid, side ponytail, and braided pigtails. I need more cute ideas, help? I have brown hair with blonde highlights, especially at the tips of my hair, I have wavy hair with a lot of the tips curly, it's kind of messy curly, and it's almost to the middle of my back. Quick sprained ankle remedy?

Miss understanding about something on my neighbors property.?

Ok my neighbors have this huge old fiberglass yard sattilite in their yard. We always thought it was kind of an eye sore. Anyway, we had to get a new water heater installed.So a local handy man came by and helped us put it in. He said that our neighbor gave it to him and that if we wanted it he would let us have it. We said sure. So 5 years later and never seeing this handy man again, we have a family come over that picks some of our plums. They showed interest in the sattilite. So I said sure you can have it. So the take a crowbar out and start to pull it apart so that they can move it. Well my neighbor comes out all piss and yelling and say that i shouldn't be giving away stuff that isn't mine. As far as I knew it was mine! But he won't listen. He is angry with me and says that i have to pay for it. I have no money and I just wanted to get it out of our yards. I told him about what the man said many years ago. How he gave it to us and htat they gave it to him. But he doesn't seem to know what i am talking about it. He was such a nice neighbor. From his perspective, since he seems to not know what i am talking about, he is understandably upset. But the man said he would tell him. I am lost and feeling really broken now. All because someone seems to have lied to me, my neighbor has grossly lost his trust in me. And now I have to pay with money i don't have. i tried to go over and talk to him but he wouldn't answer his door. I brought over all of the money i have. It was only $65 bucks. I had to leave it in a box on the porch. I won't be able to pay a couple of bills now. I thought that i talked about the guy giving it to us a couple of years back with them...........i don't even know any more. I am not a bad person and i hate it when people take advantage of people. I was making no money off of my friend taking it away. I was taking advantage of no one and my neighbor seems to think so. He kicked my friends(i don't actually know their names they just come over every early spring to pick plums....) I am so lost. I accept that my mistake has consequences. i accept that my neighbors won't trust me anymore. i don't like it but i accept it. What i don't really accept is that he is charging me for something he was about to get rid of anyway. And from the sound of his tone a bunch of money. IT is an old piece of crap. I will pay of coarse. But I have no idea how.........does anyone know how much an old fiberglass yard sattilite goes for now a days? it is about 8-10 across. I hate neighbors. it seems to bring nothing but misunderstandings. and depression. Anyone Suffering from Chronic Hives?

This is actually going to be some advice for those people who have suffered with chronic hives for a long time. I had (idiopathic urticaria) hives with no known cause for over 2 years. I lived off of antihistimines and steroids(medrol dose packs and prednisone) and was in and out of the emergency room when I had outbreaks all over my body. I had been given the run around by all types of drs. And I was even given meds for what they believed was a stress disorder. I even had a blood test done for allergies but everything came back fine. I was unable to get the skin test because they ask you to come off of your medications for like a week before the test. And there was no way i could. I had to work and go to school. If i did that I'd look like a monster. But I eventually found a good ENDOCHRINOLOGIST and they found that i have hyperthyroidism/GRAVES DISEASE and the way that my body reacted to the disruption in my thyroid function was externally through hives. I had a blood test at this physicians office and they confirmed that the thyroid levels were too high and put me on Methimazole to help slow down thyroid hormone production. I slowly took myself off of the antihistimines and am taking only the methimazole now. I have been taking the medicine only a month or so and feel much better in some ways. I still feel tired and have a very hard time keeping weight on, but at this point i am not having to worry about hives. I just hope that someone who has the same problem will read this and find some hope here. Don't let a dr tell you that nothing is wrong with you. You know your body best and you know when something is wrong. I went through countless dr's and missed opportunities because of what I was suffering with, with no answers. Dont lose hope and keep looking until you get help.

I'm having an ablation soon?

For my SVT. It's really unpleasant, I've had one before. Can you tell me about your experience and how you cope? I didn't react well to anaesthetic the first time. This will be my second op. Any tips on recovery? Also the nurse removed my dressing and it was like a slow wax, Soooo painful haha. Anyone else have that ?

Okay, I'll start with I'm a 13 year old girl. In school everyone hates me but it's for no reason. Everyone just talks about me and are mean to me and I try so hard to not let it get to me but it always does. They always say stuff like I have no friends and im ugly and no one will ever like me(even though I have a boyfriend). It just really hurts because I feel like I've done nothing wrong. Then at home my older sister, mom, and dad basically hate. And no I'm not over reacting they actually say that all the time. They just always yell and curse at me and I try to get out of there way and just stay in my room but they just come to my room and yell. My mom has called me a Wh*re, Sl*t, B*tch what ever you can think of. But I'm not any of those and I just take everything to the heart and it hurts alot. And they say stuff like your so fat so I guess I just freaked out about that and started starving myself for days and making myself throwup. I think they know but they dont care. About six months ago I started to cut myself. And yeah I know it's really wrong and it doesn't help but I didn't stop until about three weeks ago. So then I decided maybe it would make me feel better if I told someone. So I told my mom about a week ago. All she said was don't do it again. And I really, really wanted to help myself so I asked her if I could go to therapy and she no. That I couldn't go becaus therapist dont care about people they just want money then she said that we werent going to talk about this again. So now I'm just lost and don't know what to do. I felt proud for actually wanting help then she just said no. People were all "go tell a couseler" but schools over. I have no one I'm really close to eaither... and yeah I have considered killing myself.

Liver test results slightly above normal?

Probably over-reacting here but I rang up the doctors to collect results for a liver function test I did earlier in the week. The results were mainly normal but a few were 'slightly above' what is considered normal. Despite this, the doctor apparently said I was ok. Is it perfectly common to have results that are above normal?

My dog is limping,but i cant find anything wrong?

my dog is limping and i looked over his paw(s) (all 4) and i didn't see anything wrong so i watched him closer and found it was his left front leg so i checked the paw again, same thing nothing wrong, so then i checked his leg, putting pressure on various points he didn't react so i moved his leg around and lightly stretched it out, but he didn't react, but he's still limping and when he stands he either holds his paw up or stands on his tippie toes. what could be wrong with him, and what should i do?
