What should I get my picky dad for father's day?

I already got him a card, but I don't know if I should buy him something else or not. I'd like to, but I don't know what! He's one of those dad's that complain that you spent too much whenever you buy him something...he likes to sit in the basement all day watching TV (he's retired), he's a handy man but has all the tools you can imagine, he used to be a car dealer so cars are like his obsession, he drinks a lot of miller lite beer, it's super hard to pick out clothes for him because with anything he's like "this jacket is too short", "the brand name is too big", "the colors are too bright", he never dresses up for big events or anything so ties are out of the question, i once bought him a clock with cars around it and made the noise of a car engine every hour and he got really mad! saying that the noise would be really annoying...he's super hard to shop for! and usually always says "you shouldn't have spent money on that!" any ideas?
