Can a interior design dg. and real estate dg. correspond in some way?

Staging is used with many real estates businesses, but in my area they are not good...but..interior design is different from staging...if you want to do staging and real estate, then you can get a staging certificate in a month or so online....interior design is 4 years or more of university, and involves different aspects.
